We are currently hiring for a Assistant Store Manager. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager creates and maintains the Roots experience for our customers and employees.  The ASM supports the Store Manager with all aspects of store operations always modeling and acting in accordance with Roots guiding principles and beliefs. To be successful, you’ll need to possess:

2+ years of retail apparel management experience. Great sense of style and a love for fashion. Demonstrated ability to strive in an environment that is customer service driven with a focus on selling. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights and weekends.

Assist the Store Manager in the achievement of the store sales budgets through execution of company standards, policies and procedures while exceeding customers' expectations through superior service at every opportunity. Demonstrates the ability to lead by example in sales and customer service. Assists the Store Manager in the execution of all recruitment activities. Supports the Store Manager in providing product knowledge and selling skills training to new and existing staff. Execute opening and closing procedures according to company policies and procedures.   Ability to motivate team through coaching & leadership. Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet the demands of the business. Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.

Sous la supervision du gérant de magasin, l'assistant(e) gérant(e) crée et entretient l'expérience Roots pour nos clients et nos employés. Il/elle seconde le gérant dans tous les aspects des opérations du magasin, tout en incarnant et en respectant les principes directeurs et les valeurs de Roots.   Pour réussir à ce poste, vous devrez posséder :

Plus de 2 ans d'expérience en gestion dans le secteur de la vente au détail de vêtements. Un sens aigu du style et une passion pour la mode. Une capacité avérée à s'épanouir dans un environnement axé sur le service à la clientèle et la vente. La capacité à travailler selon un horaire flexible pour répondre aux besoins de l'entreprise, y compris les soirs et les fins de semaine.

      L'IMPACT QUE VOUS AUREZ   C'est l'occasion de façonner l'avenir de notre entreprise en :   Aider le gérant de magasin à atteindre les objectifs de vente en appliquant les normes, politiques et procédures de l'entreprise, tout en dépassant les attentes des clients grâce à un service exceptionnel à chaque occasion. Faire preuve de leadership par l'exemple en matière de vente et de service à la clientèle. Aider le gérant de magasin à mener à bien toutes les activités de recrutement. Soutenir le gérant de magasin en formant le personnel (nouveau et actuel) aux produits et aux techniques de vente. Exécuter les procédures d'ouverture et de fermeture conformément aux politiques et procédures de l'entreprise. Motiver l'équipe grâce au coaching et au leadership. Gérer efficacement son temps et établir des priorités pour répondre aux besoins de l'entreprise.
