The posting

We are seeking a dedicated HR Projects Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of HR projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will track timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that HR programs are delivered efficiently and on schedule.

Your key responsibilities will include:

HR Project Coordination

  • Coordinate the implementation of HR initiatives across multiple departments, ensuring timelines, activities, and deliverables are met.
  • Maintain project trackers to monitor progress and ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Send reminders and follow-ups to departments regarding required submissions and milestones.
  • Support smooth execution of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Communicate timelines, deadlines, and expectations clearly with relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration between multiple departments to achieve project goals.

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate the purchase of awards, gifts, certificates, and event materials.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of required items.
  • Monitor purchases to ensure they remain within approved budgets.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Higher secondary education diploma (VWO, IMEAO, HAVO, or NATIN).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant administrative or project coordination experience, preferably within Human Resources or other corporate functions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across departments and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work in Brokopondo on a rotational schedule of 5 days of work followed by 2 days off.
  • A valid proof of good conduct (‘Bewijs van goedgedrag’) will be required upon selection.
  • Valid Suriname driver’s license (BE).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in both Dutch and English.
