Click here for more information on \[Rothschild \\\& Co Wealth Management\](\< \>). \\Overview of Role\\ The Securities Operations Department is responsible for the processing and monitoring of all securities related transactions as well as the life\\-cycle\\-management of securities positions and the maintenance of the asset master data. We serve our clients in a highly professional way and we keep our procedures on the most efficient level to provide information and services in a timely manner. Every member of the team strives to optimize the processes continuously to exceed current and future expectations of our clients. As a Securities Operations Specialist you can handle special cases, contribute to company\\-wide projects and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional way. You challenge the current procedures of your area of responsibility and you establish "best practices" in the team. \\Responsibilities\\ \* Executing the processing and booking of Stock\\-Exchange transactions for the Swiss and UK businesses \* Processing of investment fund transactions (incl. alternative investment funds) \* Trade confirmation matching via SWIFT, Omgeo/CTM or paper\\-based matching \* Chasing counterparties on late and failed settlement \* Settlement of trade transactions across different custodians within the Avaloq system \* Securities transfers free of payment \* Custody functionalities related to securities transaction and position management \\Education and Qualifications\\ \* Completed banking apprenticeship (EFZ) or comparable qualification in banking/financial services ( , CYP) \\Experience, Skills and Competencies Required\\ \* 5 \\- 10 years of experience in processing and booking of trades in all financial instruments in all markets, awareness of tax issues on stock exchange transactions \* 3 \\- 5 years of experience in settlement of trades in all financial instruments is a strong benefit \* Practical knowledge of Avaloq banking platform is a must \* Ability to communicate clearly to internal and external counterparties \* Strong team player with a can\\-do attitude \* Swift, reliable and exact working style \* Very good command of English and German (written and spoken), French is beneficial \\Benefits\\ \* Rothschild \\\& Co provides a wide range of health and wellbeing services, supported by above\\-average employer contributions to pension and social insurance, strengthening your long\\-term financial security. \* A collaborative, respectful and inclusive workplace where people feel valued, empowered and able to contribute their ideas. \* A purpose\\-driven culture guided by our long\\-standing principles of being thoughtful, creative and principled, with a focus on responsible and long\\-term decision\\-making. \* Continuous learning through in\\-house training opportunities and financial support for external education and professional certifications. \* Flexible ways of working with the possibility to work from home up to 40%, based on the role.
