Director of Marketing & Sales Operations

Experience: 10+ Years Location: New York, NY (Hybrid); United States (Remote) Reporting To: Chief Revenue Officer

Company Overview:

RQD* is a modern clearing firm that offers clearing, custody, and execution solutions designed to meet the needs of today's dynamic market participants. Built entirely on cloud-native, real-time technology, RQD can quickly and seamlessly enhance its platform, adapt to regulatory changes, and offer a more efficient implementation that scales as clients grow. In addition to portfolio margin, RQD supports U.S. equities, options, ETFs, and other securities, catering to broker-dealers and FinTechs, including RIAs, that service retail, institutional, and active traders, foreign financial institutions, and proprietary trading firms. RQD Clearing is proud to be backed by our current investors, ABN AMRO Bank and Nyca Partners, and we are currently in the process of finalizing our Series B round of funding.

This is an opportunity to work for a fintech start-up and to be an integral part of growing a broker-dealer from the ground up. As a small, hardworking team, we pride ourselves on our entrepreneurial culture and cross-team collaboration.

Position Overview:

RQD* Clearing is seeking a Marketing & Sales Operations Leader to build and manage the systems, processes and programs that support the firm’s growth. This role will connect Marketing, Sales, Relationship Management and Onboarding to create a consistent, measurable client journey-from initial awareness through conversion and long-term engagement.

The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with hands-on experience in CRM management, funnel development, digital marketing, and website optimization. This individual will ensure prospects receive relevant content at every stage of the funnel while giving leadership clear visibility into pipeline performance, campaign effectiveness and revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Operations and Funnel Management Develop and manage the firm’s end-to-end prospect and client funnel, from awareness and lead generation through qualification, onboarding and relationship expansion. Establish clear funnel stages, ownership, qualification criteria and handoffs across Marketing, Sales, Relationship Management and Onboarding. Create and execute nurture strategies that regularly deliver relevant content to prospects at each stage of the funnel. Partner with Marketing and subject-matter experts to align thought leadership, product content, case studies and other materials with prospect needs and buying stages. Identify gaps, bottlenecks and conversion opportunities throughout the client journey. Develop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into pipeline activity, conversion rates, campaign performance and revenue attribution.
  • CRM Implementation and Management Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the firm’s CRM. Establish CRM standards for data entry, lead routing, pipeline stages, activity tracking, and reporting. Maintain data quality, system integrity, and consistent adoption across teams. Build automated workflows, lead-nurture programs, alerts, and reporting capabilities. Train employees on CRM processes and develop supporting documentation and best practices. Work with internal technology, information security, and compliance teams to ensure the CRM meets the firm’s operational and regulatory requirements.
  • SEO and SEM Lead the firm’s SEO and SEM strategy in partnership with external vendors. Manage vendor priorities, deliverables, budgets, and performance expectations. Identify keyword, content, and paid-media opportunities that support the firm’s product and growth priorities. Monitor search rankings, website traffic, conversion activity, and campaign performance. Translate performance data into clear recommendations for improving visibility, engagement, and qualified lead generation.
  • Website Management Manage the ongoing development and optimization of the RQD* website. Create and maintain product-support pages, FAQs, contact forms, landing pages, and other conversion-focused content. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure website content is accurate, current and aligned with the firm’s positioning. Improve website navigation and user journeys so prospects can easily find relevant information and take the appropriate next step. Ensure forms, CRM integrations, analytics and lead-routing processes operate effectively. Monitor website performance and recommend enhancements based on visitor behavior and conversion data. Coordinate compliance review and approvals for website updates when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of Experience in revenue operations, marketing operations, sales operations, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and managing a CRM, preferably HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of B2B prospect funnels, lead nurturing, pipeline management, and revenue attribution.
  • Experience managing SEO, SEM, digital marketing, or website-development vendors.
  • Ability to create reporting frameworks and translate data into practical business recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, brokerage, clearing, custody or another regulated industry is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment where strategy and hands-on execution are equally important.

Success in This Role:

Success will be measured by increased CRM adoption and data quality, consistent prospect engagement across the funnel, improved lead-to-opportunity conversion, greater visibility into revenue performance, stronger search and website results, and more effective coordination across Marketing, Sales, Relationship Management and Onboarding.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
