Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and optimise machine vision algorithms for automated inspection systems.
  • Configure and integrate vision hardware, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and related equipment.
  • Interface vision hardware and I/O signals with machine systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot existing software applications using C#, WPF, and Visual Studio, following Agile methodologies.
  • Support on-site machine installation, vision application setup, commissioning, and customer buy-off.
  • Provide post-installation technical support and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Travel as required for project and customer support.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • No experience is welcome to apply for a junior Engineer level; candidates with at least 2 years of software development experience are preferred.
  • Proficient in C#, WPF, Python, .NET Framework, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with machine vision libraries such as HALCON HDevelop, Cognex VisionPro, or other equivalent platforms.
  • Able to independently manage projects, understand customer requirements, deliver effective solutions, and provide reliable after-sales technical support.
