About Us Our client is a listed company that designs test solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the go-to expert on ATE quality, and set the standards and best practices for how test applications are built and reviewed.
  • Evaluate test programs and ATE setups for robustness, risk and potential quality escapes before they reach customers.
  • Guide quality activities across new product introduction, qualification and volume production.
  • Investigate yield loss and test-related failures, and work with engineering, production and customer teams to find root causes and close out corrective actions.
  • Use 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, DOE and statistical tools to solve problems.
  • Strengthen test coverage using customer requirements, product risk and lessons from the field.
  • Lead DFMEA and PFMEA reviews so past failures and complaints are built into future designs.
  • Run test correlation and characterisation studies to find and reduce measurement variation.
  • Be the technical contact for customer issues related to test applications.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Semiconductor, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years in semiconductor test, ATE applications, test engineering or quality engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor ATE platforms, with a solid grasp of test architecture, instrumentation, fixtures, handlers and DUT interfaces.
  • Track record in yield improvement, failure analysis and data-driven root cause work.
  • Practical experience with 8D, CAPA and FMEA, plus working knowledge of DOE, MSA and SPC. Minitab is a plus.
  • Comfortable juggling priorities in a fast-moving, customer-driven environment.
  • Background in customer quality, production test, NPI or high-volume manufacturing is highly preferred.
