About: Real-Time Systems RTS Consulting - Automation has over 32 years of experience providing industrial System Integration and Control Solutions for manufacturing using “leading technologies” to achieve Manufacturing Operational Excellence. We deliver Shop Floor Control Systems (via PLC/SCADA/Historians/etc) to SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions via our in-house Controls Engineering and MES Consulting practices. We assist companies adopt new technologies (COBOTs, Cloud Analytics, AI/ML, AGV’s, etc) to achieve manufacturing “Digital Transformation” leading to an Industry 4.0 “Intelligent Enterprise”. Responsibilities: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams. Verifying correct components are used and properly installed. Inspecting industrial control panels according to drawings and project requirements. Ensuring correct terminations meet the specified torque requirements. Point to Point continuity testing. Applying power and verifying equipment operation. Providing feedback on errors found to drive continuous improvement activities. Oversee the shipment and receipt of materials, and supplies. Provide additional support in documentation and Inventory Management. Requirements Understanding of electrical schematics and ladder diagrams. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to perform in a high-paced team environment. Experience in industrial control panel wiring and testing is an asset.
