About Rubrik’s Internship Program
Rubrik offers interns an opportunity to make an impact from day one. Program Structure
Over 12 weeks, you'll move through three phases:
- Phase 1 – Foundations (Weeks 1–4): Tech Sales 101, presentation skills, 365 skills, and shadowing SEs on live calls.
- Phase 2 – Your AI Project (Weeks 5–7): Plan, build, and internally present the AI project you'll carry into your capstone.
- Phase 3 – Show What You Know (Weeks 8–12): Shadowing Professional Services and Support, live role plays, and your Capstone Showcase in front of SE leadership.
- Every week follows the same rhythm: A Monday team meeting, a weekly 1:1 with your mentor and SE director, and open-ended shadowing whenever a call or POC is happening.
- Your Capstone Showcase in Week 12 has two parts; a polished, customer-ready demo or presentation delivered to SE leadership, and a presentation of your AI project covering the problem, your solution, and its impact.
What You’ll Do
The Discovery Journey, learn to ask the hard questions that uncover a prospect's real business pain.
- Champion Building, work alongside our field teams to identify and equip technical stakeholders with what they need to advocate for Rubrik internally.
- Master the Plan, build a functional understanding of how top-performing SEs design campaign execution strategies that win.
- Cross-Functional Impact, collaborate with Account Executives, Sales Leaders, and Specialist Teams to drive outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience You’ll Need
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree
- Graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028
- Available to work full-time for a 12-week program in Austin, TX
- Comfortable presenting and thinking on their feet in a live, unscripted setting
- Basic technical fluency — enough to speak credibly about how a product works and field follow-up questions, not necessarily deep engineering depth. This could also be an aptitude to learning new things, we will teach the tech
- Prior customer-facing experience (support, sales, TA roles, tutoring, campus ambassador programs)
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or data protection/security concepts
- Experience with AI/ML tooling specifically, given the project component
- Public speaking, debate, or case-competition background
