COMPANY 🌱
RYZE was founded in 2019 by Andrée Werner and Rashad Hossain, out of a parents' basement, with a mission to change daily health, starting with the morning routine: a nutrient-dense mushroom coffee delivering clean energy, mental clarity, and immune support. Built on a Direct-to-Consumer foundation with a performance marketing engine, RYZE achieved hockey-stick growth and a community of over 1 million active subscribers. DTC remains the foundation, but RYZE has expanded into mass retail, quickly becoming the #2 item in Target's overall coffee category and is now executing a multi-channel expansion, with a cross-category launch coming in early 2027. RYZE is uniquely positioned to redefine how people think about daily wellness. We’re a lean, fast-moving, mission-driven team who believe daily rituals create the foundation for living your greatest life, and we’re just getting started!
WHAT YOU'LL DO 🎯
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, the Quality Data & Finished Goods Specification Manager will own the data backbone behind RYZE's quality decisions and lead the rebuild of our finished good specification system. As RYZE scales across DTC, mass retail, and a cross-category launch in early 2027, this role turns complaints, non-conformance, and audit data into clear insight - and translates it into action. In addition the role manages pragmatic and reliability improving product specs across our co-manufacturer network, looking for opportunities to always be more repeatable and systematic.

- Own all quality data analytics and processing, using complaint data to build CPMU insights that drive department decision-making
- Lead the design of key data trending, including foreign body drivers by type and site, allergens, serious complaints, and quality complaints
- Lead data trending on non-conformances, tracking closure against agreed timeframes and escalating any at risk
- Drive corrective action and site focus, giving Quality Managers clear direction on priority investigations and actions
- Own and produce the data behind weekly and monthly quality reporting, and lead the complaints analytical meeting
- Support quality system improvements, including the ongoing use of systems, keeping it simple and effective
- Lead and develop RYZE's finished good specification format, rebuilding it to be practical and enforceable across the co-manufacturer network
- Build core product controls into every spec - ingredient order, blend time and speed by machine, product testing details, and label controls and approval.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years in quality data analytics, trending, or continuous improvement within food or beverage manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience turning complaints, NCR, and audit data into actionable insight (e.g. CPMU, foreign body, and allergen trending)
- Experience developing or owning finished good specifications, including process parameters (blend time/speed), product testing, and label controls
- Familiarity with eQMS platforms and reporting/dashboard tools for quality data
- Comfortable driving corrective action cross-functionally, including directing investigations with Quality Managers across a co-manufacturer network
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to lead cross-functional analytical meetings and translate data into clear action.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Low-ego, team-first: The best idea wins, no matter whose it is
- Self-starter: You see what needs doing and get after it, no waiting for direction
- Comfortable in ambiguity: Fast pace and shifting priorities energize you
- Builder at heart: You're energized by a fast-moving environment where you help create the processes and playbooks
- Mission-driven: You genuinely care about wellness and are excited to help build RYZE's next chapter
