About the Role

As a Category A Mechanic, you will support routine helicopter maintenance and help ensure rapid turnaround during firefighting and utility missions. • Work under the guidance of B1.3/B2 Licensed Engineers
  • Use AMM and follow internal technical procedures and job cards
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance work performed
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness, tool control, and safety of equipment
  • Participate in off-base operations or AOG support during firefighting season

QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) Responsibilities

  • Apply health & safety instructions and wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Follow environmental protection measures (waste segregation, spill control, etc.)
  • Report any safety risks, incidents, or non-conformities
  • Participate in safety briefings and QSE improvement initiatives
  • Actively support the companys commitment to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards

Your Profile

  • EASA Part-66 Category A license (or eligibility to obtain it)
  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance (rotary-wing preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures under EASA Part-145
  • Good understanding of aircraft documentation and maintenance standards
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); Greek or French is a plus
  • Flexible to work in shifts, outdoors, and travel to field bases during mission seasons
  • Strong teamwork ethic and motivation to grow in a technical aviation environment

Why Join Helion Helicopters?

  • Gain real-world experience in high-impact aerial firefighting and utility operations
  • Work on a technically advanced H215 fleet backed by Airbus Helicopters
  • Join a dynamic, cross-European aviation team with strong safety culture
  • Develop your career under experienced leadership and world-class standards

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
