The posting
Some industries matter beyond their own business. Law is one of them. That’s why the best legal tech shouldn’t only end up at the biggest firms. We want to put it in the hands of every legal professional, from global firms to small practices and in-house teams. If only a few get the good tools, the promise of the law falls apart. It’s a big ambition, and we’re just getting started.
Legal professionals lose a big part of their week hunting for the right source, checking it’s still good law and redoing work that’s already been done. We want to take that friction away, so legal teams can spend their time on people, ethics and work that matters. That’s what Saga is built for. Founded in Europe for the legal profession, we connect to local legal sources across multiple jurisdictions and work in 12 languages. In 2 years we’ve grown to 90+ people and 6,000+ users in 25 countries. We lead the market in Norway and the Netherlands, and we’re now expanding across Europe.
Your role as Senior Product Designer As our Senior Product Designer in Amplify, you’ll help lawyers understand Saga and make the AI work their way. Getting people on the platform is the first step. Getting them to trust it, use it every day and shape it to how they work is where Amplify comes in. Amplify owns the adoption layer of the platform: onboarding, in-app guidance and the places where users customise their AI experience. You’ll join a new team with a Learning Designer, Legal Experts, Legal Tech Engineers and Software Engineers, and you’ll be the one who turns their knowledge into product. Adoption problems are messy. A partner at a global firm and a solo practitioner need different things, and both are short on time. Your job is to turn those problems into clear flows, real states and UI that holds up in daily use. You’ll explore widely, prototype fast and use AI as a normal part of how you design. You’ll work with Amplify, our design team, engineering and Lab, and keep your work aligned with where the wider product is going. What you build decides how confidently lawyers make Saga part of their day.
You will:
- Turn messy adoption problems into product: flows, states and UI that help people understand Saga and customise their AI experience.
- Explore widely before committing. Work through many wireframe directions, then kill the weak ones with a reason.
- Prototype real interactions, not only static screens. If the question is how it should feel, build something people can click through.
- Use AI as a normal part of design and prototyping. Cursor or similar is fine. The tool is flexible. The workflow is not optional.
- Design onboarding and in-app guidance as product, not a pile of tooltips.
- Work from evidence. Read product data and qualitative signals well enough to name the real problem, then design against it.
- Follow the Saga design system, and contribute when a pattern should exist beyond one screen.
What you bring to our team
- Exceptional UX. You can take a vague idea, find the real user problem and design a flow that covers every state, from empty to error.
- Strong conceptual thinking. You don’t wait for a perfect brief; you turn a rough idea into a design people can react to.
- You explore and prototype in high volume by default, with AI as part of your workflow. You direct the tool, check what it gives you and throw away what’s bad.
- Strong UI craft. Your work is ready to ship and looks like it belongs in a product lawyers rely on.
- Clear communication. You explain your choices to non-designers with ease and keep the quality bar high while you do it.
Why join Saga Your design work will directly shape how thousands of lawyers adopt and interact with AI in their daily workflows. You will see your ideas move from concept to shipped product to measurable impact. Clearer workflows, stronger adoption, better decisions. You will work at one of Europe’s fastest growing AI pioneers alongside smart, driven people across engineering, legal, product, and research who care deeply about quality and impact.
