About Our Family:

We are a busy, close-knit family currently living in downtown Kansas City. One partner takes the lead on childcare and works part-time from home, while the other manages multiple practices and frequently travels for work. Our sweet daughter is almost two, and we're excited to welcome a baby boy at the end of July. We’re also in the process of building a new home in Mission Hills, with plans to move at the end of this year.

As our family grows and both our personal and professional lives demand more attention, we deeply value trust, reliability, and strong organizational skills. We're looking for someone to help keep things running smoothly, allowing us to focus on what matters most—spending quality time together as a family.

Who We're Looking For

We’re seeking a reliable, warm, and trustworthy House Manager & Family Assistant who can provide hands-on support with both household responsibilities and some light childcare as needed. The ideal candidate will bring a nurturing, steady presence to our home, enjoy being around children, and feel confident managing household responsibilities with care and attention to detail. You’ll be a valued partner in our family’s daily life, assisting with everything from light supervision of the kids to keeping the home tidy and organized, ensuring tasks like laundry, meal prep, and household routines run smoothly.

Clear communication and flexibility are essential. We need someone who takes pride in caring for a home, goes above and beyond to keep things running efficiently, and is proactive, self-sufficient, and capable of managing tasks independently while knowing when to seek guidance. Someone who enjoys building a meaningful connection with children, brings patience and warmth to their interactions, and is comfortable providing occasional backup childcare for evenings or weekends—whether for events or date nights—would be a wonderful fit.

Fluency or conversational ability in Russian is a plus, as we appreciate candidates who can support multilingual communication within our household.

Ideal Traits & Skills:

  • Trustworthy & Reliable: You should have an impeccable track record for reliability, as we are especially focused on ensuring the right person is part of our home and family life.
  • Warm & Nurturing Presence: We’re looking for someone who brings patience, kindness, and genuine care to their interactions with children while creating a calm and positive environment.
  • Proactive & Independent: You can anticipate needs and take initiative in managing the home with minimal direction.
  • Experienced & Confident: You bring confidence from previous experience supporting families, managing household responsibilities, and caring for children.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: You naturally excel at keeping things organized, from laundry routines to pantry management, ensuring our household runs smoothly.
  • Strong Communication: We value clear and consistent communication, with regular updates on tasks and the ability to adapt to changes in plans well in advance. Russian language skills are a bonus but not required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
