About Our Family

We are a close-knit, busy household with a lot of heart — and we are looking for someone who is ready to be a real part of it. We recently made a big move from the Northeast to Florida, and while we are settling in and making this place home, the pace of life has not slowed down. Our days are full, our schedules are active, and we are looking for a steady constant to serve as our backbone and help keep us organized and our days moving.

At the center of this home is a bright, spirited, and social child who loves being around people and thrives with warmth, encouragement, and consistency. He recently went through a significant surgery and is continuing to build strength and confidence, so he benefits from additional physical support and attentive care throughout the day. This includes the use of mobility aids, regular physical therapy appointments, and some hands-on assistance as needed until he fully regains his strength. He is a joyful child who loves connection, curiosity, and being engaged with the world around him.

We have two cats and a small, friendly dog who rounds out the household energy — and when extended family visits, the house gets a little louder and a little livelier. We love it. Our home is easygoing, inclusive, and open. We believe in kindness, being genuinely curious about the world, and surrounding ourselves with people who share those values.

Who You Are / What We Are Looking For

  • Warm and Compassionate: You genuinely enjoy connecting with children and bring a patient, encouraging presence. You understand that children thrive with consistency, attention, and someone who is truly engaged in their day-to-day life.
  • Comfortable Providing Physical Support: You are confident in providing hands-on assistance and are physically capable of supporting mobility needs, including support with transfers, dressing, and other daily activities as needed.
  • Proactive and Resourceful: You are the type of person who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative without needing constant direction. Whether it is preparing meals, organizing household tasks, or coordinating appointments, you naturally look for ways to make life easier.
  • Independent and Organized: You are comfortable managing your own priorities, keeping track of details, and helping create structure in a busy household. You can confidently handle everything from errands and paperwork to household organization projects.
  • Communicative and Collaborative: You keep the parent informed, provide thoughtful updates, and understand that strong communication builds trust. You are comfortable working independently while also partnering closely with the family to support their needs.
  • Kind, Inclusive, and Open-Minded: You bring genuine warmth and respect to the families you support. You are comfortable in a household that values kindness, curiosity, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Tech-Savvy and Adaptable: You are comfortable using technology for calendars, communication, scheduling, and household organization, and you enjoy learning new systems that help a household run smoothly.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
