About Our Family

We are a warm, active family looking for a dependable Household Manager who can bring organization, consistency, and positive energy to our home. With both parents frequently working from home and periodic work travel, we value someone who can work independently, anticipate what needs to be done, and maintain a professional, light footprint while keeping the household moving smoothly.

Our two school-aged children have busy schedules and benefit from a supportive presence who can reinforce routines, provide homework assistance, and encourage them to take responsibility for their belongings and daily tasks. We also have an energetic young Bernadoodle who is an important part of our household, so genuinely enjoying dogs is essential.

We already have a professional cleaning team every other week, so this position is centered on household management, organization, family support, laundry, meal preparation, and daily upkeep.

Who You Are/What We’re Looking For

  • Proactive and self-directed: You naturally notice what needs to be done and take initiative without waiting for detailed instructions. You enjoy creating order and staying a step ahead of a busy household.
  • Warm and energetic: You bring positive, engaged energy to the home and genuinely enjoy interacting with school-aged children. You can keep pace with an active family while maintaining a calm, capable presence.
  • Organized and efficient: You are skilled at managing multiple priorities, following through on details, and creating practical systems that make everyday life run more smoothly.
  • Reliable and accountable: You take your commitments seriously, communicate proactively, and can be counted on to follow through. Consistency and dependability are central to how you work.
  • Confident with children: You are comfortable taking the lead when needed, reinforcing household expectations, and setting appropriate boundaries. You are warm and supportive while also encouraging children to take responsibility for their belongings, routines, and commitments.
  • A strong communicator: You communicate clearly and professionally with both parents and children. You are comfortable sharing updates, asking thoughtful questions, and coordinating around changing schedules and priorities.
  • Flexible and adaptable: You understand that family life changes from week to week and can adjust when travel, activities, home projects, or seasonal schedules shift. You are comfortable with occasional overnight support when planned in advance.
  • Professional and considerate: With parents frequently working from home, you know how to be highly effective while maintaining a light footprint. You work independently, respect the rhythms of the household, and use good judgment about when to communicate or take initiative.
  • A genuine dog lover: You are comfortable and confident with an energetic young dog and are happy to incorporate walks, feeding, appointments, and other pet-related needs into the day.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
