Apprentice QA Engineer

Team: Engineering Location: Bhaktapur

Role Overview The Apprentice QA Engineer at SAGEA will assist in testing and validating AI systems, pipelines, and experimental models under supervision. This is a learning-focused apprenticeship where you will gain hands-on exposure to model evaluation, data workflows, and deployment practices while contributing to the reliability of our systems.

What You Will Do

  • Execute test plans for AI models and supporting pipelines
  • Assist in validating data processing, preprocessing, and ETL workflows
  • Help identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues
  • Work with QA and research engineers to maintain reproducibility of experiments
  • Support automation of basic tests and documentation of results
  • Learn QA best practices for AI research and deployment

What We Are Looking For

  • Basic programming skills (Python preferred)
  • Interest in AI, machine learning, or software quality
  • Detail-oriented and methodical in testing and validation
  • Willingness to learn from hands-on experience in a research-focused environment
