This position requires deep expertise in cloud, security, systems integration, and enterprise‑wide solution development, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor technical staff, and drive continuous improvement across both on‑premises and cloud‑based systems.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture Leadership

  • Lead architecture efforts across multiple EA domains, including business, systems, data, security, cloud (AWS/Azure/Hybrid), network infrastructure, and governance.
  • Translate business strategy into technical strategies, roadmaps, and architecture deliverables.

Solution & Integration Architecture

  • Design and maintain logical and physical architecture diagrams using tools such as Unicom System Architect and Visio (SV01, SV02, SV03).
  • Develop API and integration models for healthcare and financial systems, including X12 and HL7 transactions.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise design patterns, AI patterns, and architecture best practices.

Technical Assessments & Reviews

  • Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements for system design, integration, performance, and security.
  • Develop Business Enterprise Architecture Assessments, defining requirements, solution options, cost estimates, security considerations, and resource needs.
  • Provide deep technical expertise in financial processing systems and healthcare claims architecture (on prem and cloud).

Collaboration, Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment with architecture principles and standards.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and technical guidance to team members.
  • Deliver high-quality architectural work products within defined timeframes while managing risk and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive architecture documents and artifacts throughout project lifecycles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, workflows, and system performance through technology solutions.
  • Quickly assimilate new technologies and business knowledge to support evolving organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Must meet the requirements to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation; U.S. citizenship may be required based on federal contract requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or other related field.8 years additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years of experience with Enterprise Architecture processes, including project intake, solution architecture, logical and physical architecture design, cloud architecture, infrastructure costing, and security protocols.
  • 3-5 years of enterprise‑level experience focused on architecture domains such as systems, data, interfaces, infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud architecture.
  • Proven expertise integrating trading partner technologies with healthcare and financial processing systems using enterprise APIs, with an understanding of financial operations governance.
  • Strong knowledge of financial payroll and accounting systems, electronic healthcare systems, and financial claims processing (X12, HL7).
  • Hands-on experience using Unicom System Architect and Visio to produce logical software and physical infrastructure architecture diagrams (SV01, SV02, SV03).
  • Experience developing Business Enterprise Architecture Assessments, including business requirements, high‑level technical solutions, cost estimates, resource planning, security considerations, and solution options.
  • Demonstrated experience with SOA and API integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Oracle Service Bus, JBoss, or similar ESBs.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing consultative Enterprise Architecture guidance to both management and technical teams to solve complex business and IT challenges.
  • Experience designing SOA‑based solutions and APIs, ideally within healthcare claims or financial processing environments.
  • Certifications in integration or ESB technologies (such as MuleSoft, JBoss, Oracle Service Bus, or IBM Sterling B2B Integrator).
  • Industry‑recognized architecture certifications (TOGAF, AWS, or Azure).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
