Job Description

SAIC is looking for a System Integration Associate to support both existing and new programs. Seeking a self-motivated and efficient problem solver.

Position is located on-site in North Charleston, SC.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control test and checkout of unmanned loitering munitions.
  • Apply technical knowledge of electronics components.
  • Practical knowledge of Quality Control.
  • Skills in restoring equipment operation, evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
  • Review existing process risks and implement process improvements with the goal to exceed performance objectives and reducing costs and schedule.
  • Some practical knowledge of science or engineering.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and 0 years related experience; Associates and five (5) years; Highschool and ten (10) years work experience.
  • Direct, hands-on operational experience with HERO-120 loitering munition systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret TDP and mechanical drawings.
  • Troubleshooting of printed circuit boards.
  • Experience replacing components, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills including; technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal.
  • Organization and Time Management Skills.

Required Security Clearance:

  • No clearance required to start; must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
