About the Team

The Digital Solution Engineering team is at the forefront of the entire Marketing Cloud technology landscape. This collaborative team works closely with sales to uncover real business problems faced by customers and prospects and develops solutions and processes to not only overcome these obstacles but deliver phenomenal digital transformation. From workshops, white-boarding, presentations, demonstration and proof-of-concept builds, this team works closely with all areas of the business and all aspects of a wide technology stack.

About the Role

As a Solution Engineer, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to customers across the US — demonstrating Salesforce’s power, shaping go-to-market strategies, and creating assets to support the broader team. You'll play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for complex technical and digital marketing requirements. This role collaborates with sales, professional services, product, as well as prospective and existing customers. Meeting with C-level, Director-level, management-level and user-level customer contacts, the Solution Engineer must be able to easily adapt to each type of conversation, whether it’s strategic and high-level, or highly detailed and technical. The highly respected role of the Solution Engineer generally focuses on the following key areas:

  • Solution Development: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical resources to uncover technical challenges and goals relating to digital marketing, to then develop a solution and roadmap for the success of the customer.
  • Build: Showcase through software demonstrations and rapid prototyping how connected experiences come to life with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes the delivery of executive-level software demonstrations, construction of future state customer journey strategies, and developing long term IT roadmaps.
  • Deliver: Deliver an engaging and coherent presentation that connects complex technology to C-level audiences with persuasive story-telling.
  • Learn: Stay up-to-date on product development and roadmap, industry trends, and industry news.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in solution engineering, with a strong focus on marketing technology and customer engagement solutions, including at least 5 years as a domain expert in personalization, loyalty, or marketing technology.
  • Proven track record of driving ACV growth through Martech solution selling, with a focus on personalization and loyalty for Enterprise customers.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and articulate a strategic vision for leveraging Marketing Cloud capabilities to drive business outcomes and enhance customer experiences.
  • Thought Leadership: Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership in the marketing technology space influencing industry trends and best practices through presentations, white papers, or participation in industry events.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer success, to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs.
  • Enterprise Expertise: Previous experience as an Enterprise Specialist Solution Engineer for a CRM company or similar technology
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical understanding of data-driven solutions and the ability to design high-level architecture that meets business needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Background and passion in non-profit management and operational roles, including understanding of industry trends.
  • Exceptional Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation abilities, with a talent for storytelling that captivates and informs stakeholders at all levels.
  • Creative Problem Solver: A self-starter who is highly creative and capable of leading and prioritizing effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Communication Skills: Solid verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills to facilitate collaboration and problem-solving within teams.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to address technical challenges across varied environments.
  • A Computer Science Degree.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
