As an individual contributor, you will identify, develop and convert project-sales opportunities across selected APAC markets, with a primary focus on marine handling solutions. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to contract award and formal handover to Project Management.
The Role
You will work closely with regional sales colleagues and with engineering, service, operations and project-management teams to build competitive solutions that meet customers’ technical, operational and commercial needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Business development and relationships

- Build strong relationships with shipowners, shipyards, offshore operators, EPC contractors, consultants, distributors and other industry stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and needs assessment through quotation, negotiation and contract award.
- Promote marine handling solutions as the primary focus, while supporting sales of other products in the portfolio where relevant.
Proposals and negotiation
- Understand customers’ technical, operational and commercial requirements, and recommend suitable solutions in collaboration with engineering and product specialists.
- Prepare and manage accurate, competitive and compliant technical and commercial quotations, proposals and tender submissions in line with company processes.
- Lead customer discussions, technical clarifications and commercial negotiations within approved authority levels, escalating material risks and non-standard terms where required.
Reporting and market intelligence
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, opportunity updates and account plans, giving timely visibility of customer activity, commercial risks and market developments.
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, customer needs, industry trends and emerging opportunities to support regional sales and market-development strategies.
Handover and support
- Coordinate the formal handover of awarded contracts to Project Management, clearly communicating agreed scope, commercial conditions, customer commitments, risks and supporting documentation.
- Support the preparation, drafting and coordination of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, including maintenance, spare parts, training and technical support requirements, together with engineering, service and project teams.
The Right Person
You are a commercially driven, customer-focused professional with a technical mindset and a genuine interest in building a career in technical and project sales. You are comfortable in a fast-paced international environment and can manage long sales cycles while working across several internal teams.
