CDL-A Local Live Haul Driver – $75K + $7,500 Bonus | Selbyville, DE

Earn an average of $75,000 per year hauling live chickens from farms to a processing facility. This dedicated local position offers daily home time, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a $7,500 bonus, with occasional Saturday work.

Pay Details

  • Average Annual Pay: $75,000
  • Average Weekly Pay: $1,450
  • Mileage Pay: $0.50–$0.52 per mile
  • Average Miles: 1,024 per week
  • Bonus: $7,500

Job Details

  • Dedicated live haul account
  • Pick up and deliver live chickens from farms to a facility in Selbyville, DE
  • Approximately 3 inbound loads per day
  • Operate within a 300-mile radius of Selbyville, DE
  • Haul chicken cages on flatbed trailers
  • Secure loads using straps and a cheater bar
  • Farm roads may include steep grades, bumps, and ditches
  • Live haul experience preferred but not required

Shift Details

  • Home Daily
  • Monday–Friday
  • Required to work 1–2 Saturdays per month
  • Start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM
  • Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
  • Clean driving record
  • DOT Medical Card
  • No SAP drivers
  • Must be able to secure chicken cages using straps and a cheater bar
  • Must be comfortable driving on uneven farm roads and challenging terrain
