  • Deliver scrap metal using 39' steel dump trailers
  • Late-model tandem-axle tractors with wet kits
  • Trailers loaded using front-end loaders, claws, and magnets
  • Route example: Davenport, IA → Sheboygan, WI, typically one run per day
  • Backhauls may originate from South Beloit, IL, Milwaukee, WI, and other locations
  • Driver secures loads and is responsible for dumping trailers

Shift Details

  • Monday-Friday
  • Earliest start: 2:00 AM-4:00 AM; other start times may vary
  • Approximately 13-hour workdays
  • Home Daily
  • Off for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
  • Holiday pay available immediately with no waiting period

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 6 months of truck driving experience
  • Ability to secure loads and dump trailers
  • Hard hat and eye protection required
  • Steel-toe safety shoes or boots required
  • Passengers are not permitted
