Architectural Associate | Join a growing architecture practice shaping projects across Singapore | 5 days on-site, Bukit Merah

Not every architecture role gives you the chance to see a project from start to finish. Some firms will have you focusing on one part of the process. Others will have you working on a single project for months at a time. This opportunity is different.

Our client is a growing Singapore-based architecture practice with a strong track record delivering award-winning, institutional, commercial and public-sector projects across the country. From design development and authority submissions through to tender documentation, client engagement and construction coordination, this is an opportunity to gain broad exposure across the entire project lifecycle.

They're looking for an Architectural Associate with 1-2 years of experience who is eager to learn, keen to take ownership, and excited by the idea of being part of a close-knit team where your contributions are genuinely visible. This is a 5-day on-site role based in Bukit Merah, and would particularly suit someone who wants more responsibility, more exposure and a faster learning curve than they may find in a larger organisation.

As your confidence and capability grow, you'll have opportunities to take ownership of increasingly larger scopes of work and, over time, manage smaller projects more independently.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the development of architectural designs from concept through schematic stages
  • Preparing authority submissions and technical documentation
  • Producing tender drawings, schedules and specifications
  • Coordinating with consultants, clients and relevant authorities
  • Attending project meetings and supporting project coordination activities
  • Assisting with contract administration and construction-stage activities
  • Participating in site visits and helping resolve project issues
  • Ensuring designs meet regulatory and quality requirements throughout delivery

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Architecture recognised by the Board of Architects Singapore
  • 1-2 years of architectural experience
  • Exposure to authority submissions and construction documentation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sketchup and/or REVIT
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Someone who enjoys learning and is open to feedback
  • The confidence to take initiative rather than wait to be directed
