Car Sales Consultant

The Leman Automotive Group is one of the largest volume automotive groups in Central Illinois. We have been family owned since 1963 with 13 dealerships across Central Illinois. We are a premier family-owned automotive group employing nearly 700 talented individuals, and we continue to grow!

Our brand newly built Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership in Peoria, Illinois is currently looking for motivated and driven individuals to join our team as Automotive Sales Consultants. If you are outgoing, customer-focused, and ready to build a rewarding career in automotive sales, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them in selecting a vehicle that fits their needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers throughout the sales process
  • Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives
  • Follow up with customers before and after the sale
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of current inventory, features, and financing options
  • Utilize CRM tools and follow dealership sales processes
  • Meet individual and team sales goals
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Requirements

  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
