Business Analyst | Kwantitatieve modellen & rekenmotoren | Brussel-Centrum

Onze klant is een onafhankelijke Belgische onderneming, actief in gespecialiseerde financiële dienstverlening, waarvan de volledige activiteit rust op complexe rekenmodellen toegepast op langetermijnverbintenissen.

Wat deze onderneming bijzonder maakt? Een organisatie op mensenmaat, met de ondernemingszin van een kmo en de stabiliteit van een grote groep: korte beslissingslijnen, en wat jij doet is meteen zichtbaar.

Daarnaast worden alle platformen in eigen huis ontwikkeld en onderhouden. De rekenmotoren, projecties en regelgevende rapportering draaien op eigen applicaties, waarbij de wiskundige correctheid van het resultaat boven alles gaat.

Dit alles in hartje Brussel, vlot bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

De functie

  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CTO en vormt de schakel tussen de kwantitatieve experten, de business en de ontwikkelaars.
  • Je doorgrondt en challenget de onderliggende wiskundige modellen en vertaalt ze naar functionele specificaties die gebouwd kunnen worden.

Role

  • Wiskundige modellen en rekenregels analyseren en formaliseren, en vertalen naar precieze vereisten waarmee ontwikkelaars aan de slag kunnen.
  • De wiskundige correctheid van de resultaten verifiëren: onafhankelijke herberekeningen, coherentietesten, afwijkingsanalyse en onderzoek van anomalieën.
  • Testscenario’s opzetten die grensgevallen, afrondingen en uitzonderingssituaties afdekken.
  • Meewerken aan de evolutie van de rekenmotoren en de modellen, hypothesen en gemaakte keuzes documenteren.

Profile

  • Een master met sterke kwantitatieve component is vereist: statistiek, wiskunde, actuariaat, fysica, burgerlijk ingenieur of een gelijkwaardige opleiding. Kandidaturen zonder deze achtergrond komen niet in aanmerking.
  • Ongeveer 5 jaar ervaring in functionele analyse, kwantitatieve modellering, actuariaat, data science of in een rekenintensieve applicatieomgeving. Grondige kennis van Excel; SQL, Python, R of VBA zijn een pluspunt.
  • Vlot Nederlands of Frans met een basiskennis van de andere taal; Engels is een pluspunt.
