Business Analyst | Verzekeringen & rekenmotoren | Brussel-Centrum

Onze klant is een onafhankelijke Belgische onderneming in gespecialiseerde financiële en verzekeringsdiensten, waarvan het volledige aanbod rust op complexe rekenmodellen en verbintenissen op zeer lange termijn.

Wat deze onderneming bijzonder maakt? Ze koopt haar software niet aan, ze bouwt ze zelf. De rekenmotoren, actuariële projecties en regelgevende rapportering draaien op applicaties die intern ontwikkeld en onderhouden worden.

Voor jou betekent dat één platform in plaats van een opeenvolging van opdrachten: je leert het systeem tot in de details kennen, je ziet je analyses effectief in productie gaan en je blijft erbij wanneer ze moeten evolueren.

Een organisatie op mensenmaat met de stabiliteit van een grote groep, in hartje Brussel en vlot bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

De functie

  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CTO en vormt de schakel tussen de business, de actuariële experten en de ontwikkelaars.
  • Je ontleedt de rekenregels en de parameters van de contracten en vertaalt ze naar functionele specificaties die gebouwd kunnen worden.

Role

  • Rekenregels, barema’s en bedrijfslogica analyseren en formaliseren, en omzetten naar duidelijke vereisten voor de ontwikkelaars.
  • De correctheid van de resultaten verifiëren: onafhankelijke herberekeningen, coherentietesten en onderzoek van afwijkingen, in een context waarin de bedragen de onderneming binden.
  • Testscenario’s opzetten die grensgevallen, afrondingen en uitzonderingssituaties afdekken.
  • Meebouwen aan de evolutie van het platform en de modellen, hypothesen en keuzes documenteren.

Profiel

  • Master met een sterke kwantitatieve component: statistiek, wiskunde, actuariaat, fysica, burgerlijk ingenieur of gelijkwaardig. Deze achtergrond is een voorwaarde voor de functie.
  • Ongeveer 5 jaar ervaring in functionele analyse, kwantitatieve modellering of actuariaat. Ervaring in verzekeringen, pensioenen of een andere gereglementeerde omgeving is een pluspunt. Grondige kennis van Excel; SQL, Python, R of VBA zijn een extra troef.
  • Vlot Nederlands of Frans met een basiskennis van de andere taal; Engels is een pluspunt.
