The posting

Join the team at Sanderson Lincoln as a Used Car Tech in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and reconditioning used vehicles to ensure they meet company standards for quality and safety before they are sold to customers. You will work closely with the service and sales teams to maintain vehicle readiness and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles to identify repairs or maintenance needed.
  • Complete reconditioning tasks, including mechanical repairs, and ensuring all safety features are operational.
  • Coordinate with service technicians and parts department to expedite repairs and vehicle readiness.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry safety standards.
  • Assist in managing inventory by reporting vehicles that are ready for sale.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably with used or pre-owned vehicles.
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
