Who are we? Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic business that is Australian owned and produces Australia’s leading breakfast products, including UP&GO, So Good, The Alternative Dairy Co range and Australia’s favourite breakfast, Weet-Bix.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Dietitian , you will provide nutrition insights and science across our Marketing, R&D and Regulatory teams. You’ll also lead the Ask A Dietitian service and contribute to nutrition communications, product development and advocacy activities across the business.

This is a great opportunity to build your experience across a variety of nutrition projects within the food industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

Partner with Marketing, R&D and Regulatory teams to provide nutrition insights and support product development for assigned brands.

Research and interpret emerging trends across food, nutrition and health to support brand planning, product development and communications.

Support the development of compliant nutrition messaging, product information and consumer resources.

Lead the Ask A Dietitian service, responding to consumer nutrition enquiries and identifying relevant insights and trends.

Contribute to Sanitarium’s digital health and nutrition communications, including evidence-based nutrition content and articles.

Represent the Nutrition Insights team at relevant internal meetings, industry forums and external events.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Accredited Practising Dietitian status is highly desirable.

Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate nutrition science into clear, easy-to-understand information.

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Awareness of the Australian food regulatory environment and key trends across food, nutrition and health.

Proactive, enthusiastic and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Food industry experience would be highly regarded.
