The Beverages Department at Berkeley Vale is responsible for making some of Australia’s most loved products, including Up&Go, So Good and Alternative Dairy Co. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of key manufacturing or packing machinery. You’ll play a key role in creating high-quality products that change lives every day. As a Machine Operator, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while working closely with others across the production team. Reporting to the Senior Team Leader on shift, we are seeking candidates to fill a role on Night Shift. Night Shift Hours
Monday: 1:00am - 7:00am Monday – Thursday: 11:00pm - 7:00am
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate activities with the RMA and Filling areas for efficient and continuous operations. Mix batches as per the production plan. Monitor the UHT process and check for any leaks or issues. Send the treated batches to the correct filler. Record data as required and undertake product testing. Clean and maintain hygiene in the UHT area. Contribute ideas and participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, efficiency and team performance.

Skills and Experience:
Previous Night Shift experience is preferred. Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain is critical. Ability to undertake manual handling of up to 25kg. Demonstrated commitment to following processes, food safety requirements and workplace procedures. Demonstrated resilience and ability to remain positive and focused during busy production periods. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions while maintaining safety and quality standards. A willingness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges. The confidence to speak up when something doesn't seem right, particularly regarding safety, quality or food hygiene. Willingness to support teammates and contribute to a positive team environment. A strong attendance record and demonstrated reliability in previous roles.
