Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of professionalism.
  • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and lead kitchen staff to support efficient daily operations.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, proper preparation, and presentation of all menu items.
  • Manage food inventory, place orders, monitor stock rotation, and control food costs.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food temperatures and handling.
  • Assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties as needed to maintain smooth operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure daily cleaning routines are completed.
  • Monitor food waste, maintain proper portion control, and document waste to support cost management.
  • Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including the industrial dishwasher.
  • Communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager and other departments to ensure consistent service and smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of management or leadership experience in restaurant operations.
  • Customer service experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
