The posting

Sapp Bros. is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. We’re seeking a hands-on leader with a background in diesel or heavy-duty truck repair, strong leadership skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

In this role, you’ll oversee daily shop operations, lead and develop your team, and ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to our customers’ satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily shop operations and ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Lead, coach, and develop technicians while building a strong team.
  • Monitor service sales and department performance to meet business goals.
  • Ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Build positive customer relationships and resolve service concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
  • Assist with repairs or operate the service truck when needed.
  • Help build and grow the service department at our new location.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of service management experience in diesel repair, heavy-duty trucks, or a related field.
  • Previous experience leading and developing a team.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy service environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
