  • Apply an analytical approach to food safety information to identify trends or gaps and support compliance and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of the Plant's food safety programs to ensure compliance with legislative, GFSI, Corporate Quality Assurance, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal, regulatory, customer, and third-party audits and inspections, including corrective action follow-up and verification.
  • Maintain HACCP, food safety, training, and quality records, including the Plant Document Control System, to ensure programs remain current, accurate, and compliant.
  • Coordinate food safety training activities, including Contractor and Visitor GMP training, and maintain associated training records.
  • Support environmental monitoring, environmental swabbing, and other food safety verification activities.
  • Support plant projects, new product development, product modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with food safety assessments, HACCP reviews, document updates, regulatory compliance activities, and implementation of food safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review information and data, identify trends or gaps, and support food safety activities and decision-making.
  • Experience supporting food safety audits and inspections is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and document control skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated interest in developing technical expertise in HACCP, food safety systems, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret regulatory requirements, standards, SOPs, and laboratory reports.
  • Experience coordinating or delivering training programs is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software applications.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
