Chanakya is Sarvam AI's specialised, self-contained vertical for national security and institutions of national importance. It carries its own pricing, business, product, engineering, custom-model and vendor functions under one roof — a complete unit built to solve the most complex problems in the strategic sector: the three armed forces, intelligence agencies, financial regulators, and institutions of national importance such as central ministries and national policy bodies.

What we deploy here must be at strategic parity or higher — anything less is a national-security risk. That standard is the reason Chanakya is a small, exceptionally high-performing team inside Sarvam, and the reason we are deliberate about who joins it.

Every deployment runs the entire stack: understanding a customer's real requirement, architecting and customising the stack for it, and where needed building and fine-tuning models, shaping training data, and inventing data representations for extraordinarily complex data, workflows and applications. You touch nearly the whole arc of the work. This experience sets you apart — whether you go on to found a company, or become a business or technology leader in the years ahead, at Sarvam or beyond.

These are leadership seats in the making.

Chanakya's functions are being built out now. We are looking for people who will grow into the leaders of these emerging functions — every one of these roles is a route to leading a part of the vertical, not just filling it.

Where we are. This is not a leap into the unknown. Chanakya has already achieved product–market fit to a meaningful degree, has significant revenue booked, and has large strategic projects officially underway. Things are structured and going well.

Where client-facing instinct meets technical depth — working directly with the founders.

You will bring your client-facing judgement and technical fluency together to shape and drive Chanakya's go-to-market, working closely with the leadership and the founders to get it built.

•Entrepreneurial temperament — owns outcomes end to end.
