The posting

As our Learning Experience Designer, you'll design and develop learning content and programs using the latest instructional and educational technology, building solutions through research and consultation across onboarding, compliance, and foundational skills topics.

You'll sit within an established 6-person L&D team supporting 2,000+ staff across the Philippines and Australia, with a Learning Management System already in place, so you're building on solid foundations rather than starting from zero.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop learning resources that are engaging and relevant to the workplace and industry context, including job aids, workbooks, handouts, skill and knowledge assessments, and case studies

• Design curriculum, content outlines, and storyboards, applying appropriate multimedia learning methodologies with consideration for scalability and delivery requirements

• Maintain training materials, courseware, and content to keep information current and accessible

• Research and recommend educational best practices, instructional technologies, and multimedia hardware/software to support teaching and learning

• Explore and integrate AI-powered tools (e.g. generative AI content assistants, AI-enabled authoring platforms) to accelerate content development, support personalised learning, and improve design quality

• Create new and improve existing L&D products that provide value to stakeholders, including standard learning programs, role-specific onboarding programs, learning pathways, and learning events

Who You Are

• Communicates clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing

• Demonstrates genuine curiosity about learning trends and emerging technologies, and actively applies new knowledge to improve learning solutions

• Challenges the status quo constructively, identifying opportunities to improve how the organisation approaches learning and development

• Manages competing priorities independently, delivering quality work under pressure with minimal supervision

• Adapts quickly in a fast-paced, agile environment, maintaining quality output through change

• Acts with integrity in all interactions, builds strong working relationships, and applies analytical thinking to learning design challenges

• Brings energy and enthusiasm to team collaboration, contributing positively to team culture and collective goals

• Takes initiative to identify and resolve learning gaps, approaching challenges with a solutions-first mindset

What You'll Need

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong visual design sense, highly creative, and innovative

• Detail-oriented with good organisational skills

• Previous experience in training, curriculum design, training needs analysis, and training evaluation

• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles

• Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organisation as well as vendors

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Rise, Storyline)

• At least 1 year of eLearning development experience

• Ability to interpret LMS data and apply learning evaluation frameworks (e.g. Kirkpatrick) to assess and improve content effectiveness

• Willingness to work Australian hours

• Willingness to work from Taguig City (hybrid arrangement)

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital design, media production, motion graphics, and video editing

• Working knowledge of web design technologies such as HTML

• Experience executing graphic design and video development projects for instructional and presentation needs

• Experience using e-learning software, content creation tools, and a learning management system

• Experience using AI-powered tools for content development (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Synthesia, Canva AI) is a strong advantage

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
