Location: Odessa, Texas Type: Full time Overview Field Training & Development Specialist will also be responsible for onsite coordination and delivery of HR training. Responsible for assisting with development of training materials with guidance and input from subject matter experts (SME) throughout the organization. Training programs will span all business/functional groups. Responsibilities Coordinate with Project Site Leadership to deliver HR training at project sites on a regular basis. Travel will be required. Set up new courses, manage content, and upload training records in the Learning Management System (LMS) Assist with design, develop, and maintenance of engaging, interactive, and instructionally sound training materials in a variety of formats and delivery methods, including online courses, instructor-led training, webinars, and reference materials Develop and design training content including E-learning content using the appropriate software tool(s) and provide content for review by SME(s). Edit course content as needed based on SME input. Apply adult learning theory through development and evaluation methods Create assessments that support the learning objectives and content provided in the course. Research and engage with learning technology, multimedia, and business technology training providers to source innovative, engaging, and effective training materials and programs. Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Assist with designing, developing and maintaining technical course materials for all audiences, including course content, course outline and learner evaluation Analyze target audience and develop course objectives that align with learners’ job-specific needs as defined by the platform development team, business unit, learner’s manager and/or job description Evaluate and test training modules to ensure proper functionality and scoring in the system. Partner with SME(s) through the review cycle to ensure edits and changes are made to support functionality Work closely with teams across the company to drive the success of our training programs, developing creative strategies to engage online participants, building new training content, and improving existing programs. Requirements 3 years’ experience in training & development, field training, in the Oil & Gas, Power, or Industrial Construction industries Bilingual Strong ability to graphically illustrate complex concepts that enhance the learner’s experience Superior communicator in English and Spanish, with the ability to work with subject matter experts from both technical and business teams to creatively transform technical concepts into clear and concise training content and materials Experience with various software platforms such as Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and LMS. Assist in developing training solutions company wide. Self-motivation along with the ability to demonstrate a keen sense of organization and attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree or combination of AAS degree and 5 years of experience Saulsbury Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
