ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Applied Epic Insurance Associate with strong hands-on proficiency in Applied Epic to support the daily operations of a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance agency.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience managing client records, policy documentation, certificates of insurance, endorsements, renewals, and other essential insurance servicing tasks within Applied Epic.

Intermediate to advanced Applied Epic proficiency is mandatory for this role. Candidates must have prior hands-on experience using the system in a professional insurance agency environment. Applicants with beginner-level knowledge or exposure limited to training will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Applied Epic Management: Navigate and maintain client accounts, policy files, activity logs, and documentation within Applied Epic.
  • Certificates of Insurance (COIs): Prepare, issue, track, and follow up on certificates of insurance, including handling high-volume requests and maintaining accuracy.
  • Policy Servicing: Process policy endorsements, update client and policy information, and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Quoting & Re-quoting: Gather required information, coordinate with carriers, obtain quotes, and assist with preparing insurance proposals.
  • Renewal Management: Monitor upcoming renewals, initiate proactive client outreach, gather updated information, coordinate with carriers, and maintain renewal documentation.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized digital records, manage insurance documents, and use Applied Epic's reporting and activity-tracking features.
  • Producer Support: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, track outstanding tasks, and coordinate follow-ups to support producers and account managers.
  • Client Communication: Respond professionally to client inquiries, coordinate service requests, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Task Prioritization: Manage multiple requests and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, organization, and a high standard of client service.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced proficiency in Applied Epic, with practical experience in a working insurance agency environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing client records, policy files, activity logs, and insurance documentation within Applied Epic.
  • Working knowledge of certificate issuance, certificate holder management, endorsements, renewals, and policy servicing workflows.
  • Experience with insurance quoting, re-quoting, carrier coordination, and proposal preparation.
  • Understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high-volume requests and competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly when communicating with clients and insurance carriers over the phone.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate policy records and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, track follow-ups, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting US-based P&C insurance agencies.
  • Experience handling high-volume COI requests and managing certificate holders in Applied Epic.
  • Familiarity with Applied Epic reporting, document management, and renewal activity tracking.
  • Previous experience providing administrative and operational support to insurance producers or account managers.

Important Screening Criteria

Applied Epic experience is a mandatory requirement. Candidates must be able to demonstrate practical, day-to-day use of the system beyond basic navigation or introductory training.

Candidates with no prior Applied Epic experience, beginner-level proficiency, or training-centre exposure only will not be considered.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable professional who can step into an established insurance workflow with minimal system training. The right candidate will combine strong Applied Epic proficiency with sound insurance operations knowledge, professional communication, and a proactive approach to client service.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
