The posting

Summary: Due to an increase in business we are looking to add Full Time and Part Time Service Car Runners to our Service Department at New Brighton Ford . No experience is necessary. We will train the right candidate. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have good Customer Service skills, a clean driving record and like to be around all types of vehicles, this job is for you! We have flexible schedules available.

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Transport customers to and from their destination in a professional and safe manner.
  • Assist passengers in and out of shuttle while keeping a timely shuttle route without delays.
  • Monitor shuttle vehicle maintenance and fuel.
  • Run errands for the dealership as directed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
  • Employ good judgment, safe driving skills, abide by all traffic regulations.
  • Operate radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service according to traffic regulations.
  • Maintain a record of trips including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.
  • Notify service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent driving skills and clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Consistent record of achieving or over-achieving goals
  • Extraordinary communication skills and superior customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Positive outlook with a high-energy personality
