SBM’s Manager-in-Training program is a 9-week, paid leadership program designed for ambitious people who want to learn fast, take on real responsibility, and build a career in operations.

This isn’t nine weeks of sitting in a classroom.

You’ll be on-site, working with real teams, real clients, and real business challenges while learning directly from experienced leaders. From your first week, you’ll be getting hands-on experience and building the skills you need to step into leadership.

The Experience You’ll Gain

No two days are the same — and that’s the point.

You’ll get an inside look at what it actually takes to run a successful operation and have opportunities to:

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members
  • Work directly with Fortune 500 clients
  • Solve real day-to-day business challenges
  • Learn how budgets and operations work
  • Support safety and team performance
  • Build relationships with experienced site and operations leaders
  • Take what you learn and put it into action

You won’t just be watching someone else lead. You’ll be learning how to do it yourself.

Your 9-Week Head Start

Think of the MIT program as your jumpstart into management.

Week 1: Get immersed in the business, meet your team, and start learning how the operation works.

Week 3: Start putting what you’ve learned into action and taking on real challenges.

Week 9: Walk away with real operations experience, leadership skills, and a better understanding of where you want to take your career.

Throughout the program, you’ll have experienced leaders and mentors around you who are invested in helping you grow.

You don’t need years of experience. You don’t need to already be a manager.

We’re looking for someone who is ready to learn, lead, and take ownership.

You’re curious and motivated. You ask good questions, build relationships quickly, and like figuring things out. You’re comfortable in a fast-paced environment and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves when there’s a problem to solve.

Most importantly, you’re looking for more than just your first job after college.

You want a career with momentum.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Candidate must be able to relocate for the role.

The anticipated annual base pay range for this position is $65,000-$80,168.40 .

The final compensation offered will be determined by several factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, education, qualifications, internal pay equity, and current market conditions.
