The posting

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

The Catering & Events Sales Coordinator will support catering and event sales through outbound prospecting, inbound customer support, event coordination, and order management.

This is a customer-facing role responsible for reaching out to potential catering and event customers, responding to inbound inquiries, understanding customer needs, following up on opportunities, and accurately processing customer orders.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, account coordination, or a similar role, with experience in food & beverage, catering, events, restaurants, or hospitality strongly preferred.

LOCATION

Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CATERING & EVENTS SALES

- Reach out to potential catering and event prospects through email and phone.

- Make outbound calls to generate catering and event opportunities.

- Respond to inbound catering and event inquiries.

- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate catering options.

- Follow up consistently with prospects to move opportunities forward.

- Maintain organized records of prospects, conversations, and follow-ups.

- Identify opportunities to increase catering and event sales.

CUSTOMER CALLS & ORDER MANAGEMENT

- Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently.

- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.

- Answer questions about products, menus, availability, and ordering.

- Assist customers with catering and event-related questions.

- Ensure customer information and order details are captured accurately.

- Escalate issues when additional support is required.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

- Provide friendly and professional communication across phone and email.

- Build positive relationships with customers and prospects.

- Follow up with customers when additional information is needed.

- Ensure customers receive clear and accurate information throughout the ordering process.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service, account coordination, or a similar role.

- Experience in DTC food & beverage, catering, events, restaurants, or hospitality is strongly preferred.

- Experience with catering or event sales is a strong plus.

- Experience using a POS system is preferred.

SKILLS

- Ability to confidently manage inbound and outbound customer calls.

- Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to communicate effectively with prospective customers and understand their needs.

- Ability to recommend appropriate catering solutions based on customer requirements.

- Ability to learn and use POS systems and other business tools.

- Strong organizational and data-entry skills.

- Ability to maintain accurate customer, prospect, and order information.

- Strong attention to detail when handling customer orders and event information.

- Ability to stay organized and maintain consistent follow-up in a fast-paced food & beverage environment.

- The role contributes directly to increased catering, event, and overall customer revenue.
