# Application Packaging ## Job Summary The Application Packaging role is essential for ensuring the successful deployment and management of software applications within the organization. This position requires a strong background in IT and a focus on customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's software solutions.

## Responsibilities - Organize and coordinate activities related to application packaging requirements, including testing, reporting, and deployment. - Conduct application compatibility testing and remediation to ensure seamless integration of software applications. - Utilize packaging tools such as Flexera AdminStudio and Windows Application Virtualization offerings (Microsoft App-V, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft Intune). - Develop and maintain scripts using languages like VBScript, batch script, and PowerShell for automation and efficiency. - Collaborate effectively with local and global teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination across functions. - Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address client expectations and issues.

## Qualifications - Background in IT, Computer Science Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer focus and understanding of client expectations. - Good communication skills and ability to work as a team player. - Experience with application packaging tools (Flexera AdminStudio, SCCM 2007/2012, Altiris). - Proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript, batch script, and PowerShell. - Knowledge of application compatibility testing and remediation processes.

## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with Windows Application Virtualization offerings. - Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

## Experience - Relevant experience in application packaging and deployment, with a focus on troubleshooting and client interaction.

## Environment - The position is based in Bangalore and follows a hybrid work model, combining both in-office and remote work.

## Salary - Estimated salary range: ₹600,000 per annum.
