Position Capital Compliance and Support Function Compliance- Team Member

Approximate age bracket

Reporting to Vertical Head- Financial Market, capital Compliance and Support Function Compliance

Objective Guiding Business Units/ Supports Function on Regulatory Compliance pertaining to Capital Adequacy, Assets & Liability Management and other regulations pertaining to support function such Finance, Human Resource, Internal Audit, Operational Risk Management etc.

Responsibilities A. Guidance & Advisory · Provides guidance and support to business teams, supports function team on their queries pertaining to Capital adequacy, liquidity management, Outsourcing of activities, disclosure of financial statement, appointment of auditor, internal audit etc. · Liaising with RBI for seeking clarification as when required B. Product & Process Note Review · Review of Product and Process note to ensure that product/ process notes are compliant from regulatory perspective. · Ensures that compliance comments are communicated and discussed with the product owner post internal discussions. C. Circular Tracker Implementation · Ensure that regulatory guidelines are disseminated within prescribed timelines · Identification, review of action point and dissemination to stakeholders · Follow up with stakeholder to ensure that regulatory guidelines are implemented by the relevant unit(s). · Testing of compliance submitted by stakeholder before closure of circular action points

D. Training · Devise online training module, periodic updation etc E. Audit Committee / Board Submission · Ensure preparation and submission of quarterly compliance agenda notes to CS team · Preparation of Monthly Report on Compliance Activities

Essential competencies · In depth knowledge of the regulatory environment for the banks in India particularly RBI regulations on Capital Adequacy, Liquidity Management · Good Co-ordination skills. · Good research capabilities and intelligent interpretation of regulatory guidelines. · Demonstrated ability to drive results and be very effective in a start up. · Good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and relevant

experience · Chartered Accountant (preferably first attempt)/ FRM / CFA . · 8-10 years post qualification experience in Financial Services environment, preferably in handling Capital Adequacy and Liquidity Management, Market Risk or Financial Management function · Impeccable integrity and compliance consciousness.
