## Job Summary The Data Scientist will leverage their expertise in data science, business intelligence analytics, and machine learning to transform data into actionable business insights. This role is crucial in identifying and quantifying business opportunities to solve complex business problems. The Data Scientist will contribute to understanding how insights derived from data will affect overall business strategy and decision-making.

## Responsibilities - Transform data into insights to identify and quantify business opportunities. - Solve business problems utilizing machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical learning, pattern recognition, or high-performance computing techniques. - Collect and manage large datasets to perform complex data analysis. - Implement data analysis algorithms on a large scale in collaboration with data engineering team members. - Communicate and translate complicated results and their implications to business stakeholders. - Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using various tools and data analysis techniques. - Identify both internal and external data sources, transforming them into actionable insights that support fact-based decision-making. - Actively participate in a community of practice for data scientists.

## Qualifications - Strong knowledge and experience in data science, business intelligence analytics, and machine learning. - Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques. - Ability to work using existing procedures or guidelines, providing input to support and influence area decisions. - Capacity to make recommendations on new solutions and propose improvements based on data analysis. - Ability to work with a moderate level of guidance and direction from a manager. - Excellent communication skills to convey complex results to business stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with high-performance computing techniques and various data analysis tools and software. - Experience with statistical learning and pattern recognition techniques could be a considerable plus.
