## Job Summary The General Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in managing accounting functions and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This position contributes to the organization’s goals by maintaining financial integrity and facilitating compliance with accounting standards.

## Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in all financial reporting. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. - Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts. - Support the month-end and year-end closing processes. - Assist with internal audits and resolve audit inquiries.

## Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. - Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Effective communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

## Preferred Skills - Experience with ERP systems is a plus. - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progressing towards certification is preferred. - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.

## Experience - Prior experience in accounting or similar financial position is preferred.
