General Accounting Analyst

## Job Summary The General Accounting Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and supporting the financial reporting process. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and providing insights to assist management in decision-making.

## Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. - Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. - Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial insights and analyses. - Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support cross-functional initiatives.

## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Understanding of financial reporting requirements.

## Preferred Skills - Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. - Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a plus. - Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.

## Experience - A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience preferred.
