The Technical Expert role is essential for providing specialized depth and breadth of expertise in the field. Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and promote innovation within the team.
  • Build and define best practices focused on code quality and security, including mastery of non-functional requirements, code reviews, coding guidelines, unit testing, and code refactoring.
  • Ensure the adoption and continuous improvement of development tools and environments, promoting existing tools and recommending enhancements to avoid duplications.
  • Advocate for practices linked to methodologies in use, such as Agile and DevOps.
  • Suggest evolutions of components and recommend strategies for managing code debt and improving code quality.
  • Improve technical delivery aspects of projects and provide recommendations for engineering process improvements.
  • Actively contribute to cultural transformation and talent development through coaching and mentoring junior team members.
  • Contribute to professional engineering community events and define training content while delivering training to facilitate growth at various levels.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in software engineering practices and principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, and unit testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate functional teams or projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and recommend improvements effectively.
