Network Administrator - Zscaler

## Job Summary The Network Administrator - Zscaler will be responsible for managing and supporting network operations with a focus on Zscaler technologies including Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zero Trust management. This role involves configuring policies, troubleshooting network and security issues, and ensuring seamless traffic flow and firewall/proxy services. The position supports organizational goals by maintaining secure, efficient, and reliable network infrastructure.

## Responsibilities - Manage and configure Zscaler policies and rules, including forwarding profiles and application profiles. - Troubleshoot Zscaler connection issues, including ZPA application segments and access policies. - Design solutions for firewalling and proxy services based on HTTPS and custom application traffic flows. - Implement blacklisting and whitelisting as per project requirements. - Configure and manage PAC (Proxy Auto-Configuration) profiles. - Handle SSL inspection and certificate management. - Troubleshoot network protocols and services including VLAN, VTP, STP, Port Channel, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, VSS, and VPC. - Manage routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP. - Provide support for LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity issues. - Use monitoring tools to ensure network performance and security. - Follow ITIL Incident Management guidelines and adhere to ticketing and change request processes. - Collaborate with stakeholders and assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and resolving issues.

## Qualifications - Minimum 6 years of relevant technical experience in network support and operations. - At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA, Zero Trust management). - Strong knowledge of routing and switching, including deep understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). - Proficient in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols: DHCP, DNS, VLAN, PPP, ICMP, ARP, NAT, QoS. - Experience with network troubleshooting tools and techniques. - Familiarity with proxy exception rule management, OS upgrades, and proxy centralized management. - Understanding of SSL inspection and certificate management. - Ability to follow ITIL Incident Management and change management processes. - Strong customer-centric approach and excellent stakeholder management skills. - Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

## Preferred Skills - Experience with advanced network security concepts and Zero Trust architecture. - Knowledge of monitoring tools and network performance analysis. - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively. - Experience working in hybrid work environments.

## Experience - 6+ years of relevant experience in network support and operations. - Minimum 4+ years of experience specifically with Zscaler solutions and zero trust management.

## Environment - Work type: Full-time - Work mode: Hybrid (combination of remote and on-site work) - Job location: Bangalore or Chennai, India

## Salary - Estimated salary: ₹3,000,000 INR per annum
