Job Summary

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring high-quality standards are met within the organization. This role entails leading quality assurance efforts, analyzing complex issues, and implementing improvements to QA processes. By applying technical knowledge and expertise, the QA Engineer will contribute to the operational and functional excellence of the team and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and contribute to cross-functional initiatives while working autonomously based on management directions.
  • Analyze and execute test standards and procedures for complex solutions, documenting and recommending corrective actions for any defects found.
  • Foster continuous improvement by participating in discussions on QA methodology and frameworks, striving to maintain high-quality standards for products.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced QA Engineers and Product Definition Analysts in quality assurance skills.
  • Actively engage in community events related to Quality Assurance and share knowledge through training and consulting on testing tools and QA processes.
  • Propose relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for software deliverables and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge in quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient understanding of product domain knowledge, relevant business processes, and customer needs.
  • Experience in analyzing root causes of defects and recommending improvements.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Familiarity with test automation solutions and environments.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with quality standards and frameworks.
  • Proven ability to drive sustainable improvements in QA processes.
  • Knowledge of environmentally conscious testing practices.

Experience
