Technical Manager External Supply Technical (India)

## Job Summary The role of the Technical Manager/Product Owner within the External Supply Chain India Technical team is crucial for delivering a diverse portfolio of dosage products such as Oral Solids, Powders, Liquids, Intravenous, Creams & Ointments. This role emphasizes technical leadership and ownership of product quality and lifecycle management, ensuring that new product introductions and modifications meet business needs while adhering to the highest quality standards.

## Responsibilities - Resolve day-to-day technical issues urgently to minimize reject and waste levels, providing technical leadership for root cause analysis related to product complaints and deviations. - Facilitate the improvement of process capability, product quality, and batch yields across the supply chain. - Acquire and maintain expertise in product knowledge and manage knowledge throughout the product lifecycle. - Lead the technical aspects of new product introductions to ensure seamless handover to production and support product transfers to sister sites and third-party manufacturers. - Provide technical leadership for investigations into the performance of complex launched products and support the introduction of new process technologies. - Approve and resource technical changes for launched products, ensuring effective risk management processes are in place. - Maintain accountability for product lifecycle management, influencing process, analytical approaches, packaging, and specifications for the products.

## Qualifications - Educational Requirement: M. Pharm. with a minimum of 10 years of experience or Ph.D. with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical function within the pharmaceutical industry. - Strong understanding of complex cross-functional challenges, demonstrated through experience in interactions with senior leaders within supply chain management. - Knowledge of digital tools is preferred.

## Preferred Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various cross-functional teams. - Strong analytical and statistical capabilities relevant to process improvement and product quality management. - Familiarity with risk management processes and quality assurance frameworks in a pharmaceutical context.

## Experience - Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience for candidates with an M. Pharm. or 5 years for candidates with a Ph.D., focused on technical roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
