Was Dich erwartet

Du wirst Teil eines unserer drei Kundenteams, das derzeit aus 33 Mitarbeiter:innen besteht. In dieser Position wirst du eng mit allen Fachbereichen unserer Agentur (Strategie, Online Marketing, Kreation und Account-Management) zusammenarbeiten, um unser breitgefächertes Kundenportfolio im Bereich B2B/B2C zu betreuen.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Du entwickelst neue oder bestehende WordPress-Projekte, von der Konfiguration über Theme-Anpassungen bis zur Plugin-Entwicklung
  • Du planst WordPress-Lösungen mit modernen Best Practices (ACF, REST API, Headless-Ansätzen)
  • Du bereicherst unsere Agenturstandards und Tech-Stacks rund um WordPress sowie unsere Workflows
  • Du integrierst WordPress mit Fremdsystemen, CRMs und Marketing-Tools via APIs und Plugin-Entwicklung
  • Du optimierst Performance, Sicherheit und technisches SEO von WordPress-Installationen
  • Du agierst als Mentor:in für Kolleg:innen bei WordPress-spezifischen Herausforderungen und pflegst Best-Practice-Dokumentation
  • Du verbesserst laufend unsere WordPress-Digitalprodukte, die täglich von tausenden internationalen Usern verwendet werden
  • Du hast Lust auf fachlichen Austausch und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung im WordPress-Ökosystem

Dein Profil

  • Studium im Bereich Informatik/Multimedia oder vergleichbare Ausbildung, aber auch erfahrene Quereinsteiger:innen
  • Mindestens 7 Jahre nachweisbare Erfahrung in der WordPress-Entwicklung (Theme- und Plugin-Entwicklung)
  • Tiefe PHP-Kenntnisse (OOP, Design Patterns, PHP 7.4+)
  • Umgang mit WordPress-Architektur: Hooks, Filters, Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, Metaboxes
  • Erfahrung mit modernen Frontend-Technologien (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+, ggf. Vue.js oder React im WordPress-Kontext)
  • Vorteilhaft Erfahrung in weiteren PHP basierten CMS Lösungen (Typo3, Pimcore, Kirby, etc.)
  • Versierte Git-Nutzung und Verständnis für Git Workflows
  • REST API-Entwicklung und Headless-WordPress-Lösungen
  • Sicherheit in WordPress: Authentifizierung, Autorisierung, Datenschutz (DSGVO)
  • Performance-Optimierung: Caching, Database-Queries, Asset-Handling, Site Speed und Web Vitals
  • Erfahrung mit populären WordPress-Plugins (Elementor, Wordfence, etc.) oder Page Buildern
  • Hoher Qualitätsanspruch und strukturierte, selbständige Arbeitsweise
  • Sehr gute Teamfähigkeit und Eigeninitiative
  • Ausgeprägtes agiles Mindset
  • Leidenschaft für dein Handwerk und kontinuierliches Lernen
  • Kreative Ideen und Verständnis für komplexe technische Zusammenhänge
  • Selbstbewusstsein, Durchsetzungsfähigkeit und Konfliktfähigkeit
  • Deutsch: Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse (C1)
