Vil du være med å bestemme hva hele Norge snakker om? VG søker en frontsjef i vikariat fra nå til september 2027.

Som frontsjef har du ansvar for VGs viktigste flate – forsiden. Du prioriterer, vinkler og presenterer nyhetene, og jobber tett med nyhetssjef i den løpende dekningen.

Arbeidsoppgaver:

  • Prioritere og presentere saker på VGs front
  • Spisse vinkler i samarbeid med desk og reportere
  • Følge trafikk og optimalisere saker fortløpende

Hvem er du? Du har et skarpt nyhetsinstinkt og vet hva som får folk til å stoppe opp – uten at det tipper over i clickbait. På VG har vi ofte ett bilde og rundt fem ord til å forklare en sak. Da må du velge riktig! Du må derfor:

  • Ha god teft for hva som er viktigst – og hva som skal få mest plass
  • Jobbe godt under press: Alt treffer frontsjef, ofte samtidig. Du holder hodet kaldt – både når verden står i brann og på en rolig vakt.
  • Være datadrevet: Du bruker trafikkdata og A/B-testing aktivt for å løfte sakene som fortjener å bli lest av enda flere.
