Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Leads on discipline/technology/process, keeping cost, schedule, and performance objectives in mind. 2. Assists portfolio planning and long-term strategy. 3. Performs management activities to attract, hire, supervise, and develop individual contributors to meet the goals of the group. 4. Participates at external meetings and presents at large internal meetings/forums. 5. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. 6. Understand. Create. Simplify. 7. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications B.S. in Engineering field or equivalent combination of education/experience 8+ years of related engineering or management experience Strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines/technologies Demonstrated ability to design/produce/support successful products/processes Ability to manage product line/process problems requiring creativity, ingenuity, and guidance from manager Strong desire to develop employees and lead projects Ability to define general approaches and specific solutions to technical problems Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s)

Location – Nampa, ID Located in the heart of Idaho's Treasure Valley, Nampa offers a high quality of life with access to outdoor recreation, a strong sense of community, and a growing economy. Residents enjoy nearby lakes, rivers, mountains, and year round outdoor activities while benefiting from the amenities of the greater Boise metropolitan area.

Travel Must be willing and able to travel extensively during the first 6–12 months of employment while the facility is under development. Travel will primarily be to SEL manufacturing facilities in Pullman, Washington and Lewiston, Idaho for training, process familiarization, and relationship building. Travel is expected to occur in multiweek increments and may total approximately 8–12 weeks or more based on business needs and facility startup activities.

Pay Range Data - $ $109,900 - $164,800

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Engineering Manager I level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
